“Pixel Records” is a speculative record label created with Google and Boiler Room for the release of Google’s Pixel 2 phone and the subsequent launch event at the Google SciFi Super Mall in Berlin.
Participants recorded clips of their voice and images of themselves which were processed using Mital’s custom AI algorithms that analyzed the auditory and visual information and generated a new piece of music and custom album artwork based on the unique inputs from each user.
All of the submitted sounds were compiled into a user-generated AI orchestra which was performed to the live audience in Berlin.
