Mital created a bespoke generative video intro for the indie documentary Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted about Swamp Dogg, Moogstar, and Guitar Shorty by employing a custom algorithm for video style transfer. This algorithm allowed him to blend the film’s historical and contextual footage with contemporary and imaginary visual elements, resulting in a surreal composition that’s positioned somewhere between past, present, and future LA.
The result was a unique video sequence that not only set the tone for the film but also reflected the unique artistic journey and approaches of the musicians. The custom algorithm enabled the visuals to evolve dynamically with the intro track, showcasing the innovative spirits and playful tone of the musicians.
