Baptiste

Mital’s artwork, “Baptiste,” was generated from his early experiments in visual synthesis. An example of the unique combination of his artistic and scientific practices, “Baptiste” presents a novel approach to representing human form through color, geometry, and texture.

This work attempts to answer the foundational questions that underline Mital’s broader collection of work. How can we represent our ongoing audiovisual perception of the world? Could it ever be modeled by computers?

Additionally, “Baptiste” explores themes of identity and experience which are later presented in intimate detail in Mital’s artwork The Road to Bareilly, Pt. 1
